My sisters bought 2 items from a collectables kinda shop (i wont name them) and shes paid for them aswell (this was 14th feb). The shops told her it would be 7days but shes still not got them. She's called the store and the snotty womens told her to stop hassleing them as its not a lost package its a preorder (which it didnt say on the website when she orderd them). She checked the website today and it says its instock still.

Shes really upset because she doesnt want to cancel the order because she really wants them and shes bought them at the sale price (which has gone up now). Other than complain about the rude employee what can we do? is there any kind of law against not supplying goods that have been paid for?

oooh what a horrible lady!

Id see if your sister can get a number for their head office or the shop owner and complain, theres no reason why anyone should be spoken to like that especially if she was told 7 days!

Oh god after my libel fiasco I know A LOT about this.

It comes under the Distance Selling Regulations, but if she still wants the item it boils down to if she's going to wait for it or cancel the order.

If she's unhappy that it it was mis-sold she can report them to Trading Standards.
