Just been posting in Tri 2, and thought I am so pleased, I would post in here too as som of you guys may want to try giving up caffinee too if not already- hope it helps someone.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I have been lucky with sickness this time, compared to my upchuck days with my kids, just naseau, but it's still there, hope it goes soon, but really its very doable anyway this time

Do you know I would recomend caffeine free tea for all ladies in TTC and tri 1, as with my other pregnancys , including the one I lost in March , my skin went mad and I got all spotty, more than normal, as never had great skin.

Then after the MC I changed to Caffeine free tea to try to help prevent another one, and no skin issues at all this time, and for the first time ever in any pregnancy, people have said I am blooming!!!!

I can't believe all my skin issues for years since 15 onwards, could be due to drinking tea!!! bet they are
Might help the sickness too as only been actually sick twice this time!, and my worst sickness was a few weeks ago at end of july as struggling at work and drank caffine tea (loads) at work for a full week, and felt as sick as a dog!!

I advise all my clients to cut down or out on caffine as it really does effect your skin!! It's all the toxins going into your body opens up your pores so bacteria can enter more easily!! Yuk!!!
Good on you for cutting it out jenni :D

Oh wow , so there is science behind it then, great thanks Lacey
I'm going to keep it up after the baby is born

I stopped drinking tea and coffee in December when we started ttc. I have chronic urticaria (nettle rash) and it's definately better avoiding all caffine. So no coke, limited chocolate etc.

I get zero spots and I feel great!!

but i thought tea had antioxidents in so it was cool for ur skin. altho i have one or two cups of tea for the week.......and switched to drinking herbal peppermint tea n milkshake

Tea still has caffine in it just not as much as coffee!! I've hardly touched tea or coffee since ttc and being pregnant and not only does my skin look better but so does my cellulite! Yay!!

I'm sure I read somewhere that caffine could cause or be linked to miscarriage. My husband doesn't drink any either so it was easy to give up (once I'd got past the withdrawral headaches) I'd been drinking tea since I was a baby!!

Where can you buy caffeine free I am a huge tea drinker!!!!! X x x

i went caffiene free once pregnant and for first time in life have acne lol always like to be different hehe smess i fund the pg tips made the nicest caffene free tea but most brands do it

Oh no Serenity!!!

Any supermarket will do them, several diff types available Smess, only slightly more expensive, and anything is worth a try.

you may get a few headaches for not getting the caffine for a few days, but that will just show you how much it affects you I guess , I got these like Esoames did. after that you get the same hot drink fix
