C section booked

Well everyone!!!

I have just got back from the hospital. I met with my consultant and his registrar... Both were absolutely The loveliest people ever!

They took everything into consideration. They did offer me a sweep- but with the way I feeling they understood that I was very reluctant so...

Instead they booked me in for a c section on Monday at some point! And if I do go into labour I just need to let delivery suite know that a section has been booked and I do not need to worry about my energy or sickness levels!!!

Omg hun I am so pleased you are having a c-section, was worried about your little monkey going through a potentially long and stressful natural birth. I would have been worried sick through your labour thread lol. I hope you are happy with it too . I know the recovery time can be longer but for peace of mind before hand I think it's worth it.

And...........Eeeeeeeeeep baby Turner will be here on Monday, I have my sweep but no time booked but will try my hardest to be on for updates when I can. Lots of love hun and the very best of luck! Can't wait to see her xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I know it is many peoples idea of a nightmare - but just like you Bb- I am actually really relieved! Secretly all along I think I would have been happier with a section, but I wanted to give her the very best possible chance of having less respiratory problems as possible... So obviously natural would have been the best option... But I was getting myself into more and more of a panic about having any complications during labour! Then when I got ill I decided that was the final straw!

Bubba Turner must now give me 3 days to get myself together and more healthy!!!
Unfortunately, they have told me that they expect I will be in hospital for a week... this is pants... But I have to think about what is best for her - and being in the hospital is going to be best for her!!!! Xxxx

The thing with a section is everything can be pre-planned. They can get any specialists they need for her to be there on that day at that time. I think it's a much better idea for you both, I know how worried and stressed you would have gotten if you got it into your mind something was going wrong even if it wasn't.
