I have reads everywhere that light cramps are normal but does anyone else get them? I tend to get them when I'm tired and been on my feet a lot. Putting it down to well used tummy muscles but there is always that nagging worry.

I've constantly got cramps around my womb area.
It's completely normal to have period type pains, mine are like a dull ache.
It's only when you get several sharp, sudden stinging pains around there you need worry.
You're right about the muscles, your body is working hard down there :)

How far along are you?

Glad I have come across this thread, I have been having dull aches today. Particularly in my right hand side. Good to know that these are fairly normal. Xx

I've had the same, really quite achey! I would describe them as a stitch-type feeling.

Hi ladies, is anyone else getting a sharp pain when going from sitting to standing. It's mainly on my right side at the bottom of my tummy but it takes my breath away for a few seconds until it eases up

Kd I have been having that today. Mine aren't sharp but certainly makes me stop for a split second.

I think we are reasonably close time wise Summergirl so that is reassuring to hear! It's not constant enough to worry about at the moment but it's definitely a new 'pain' today! I have been sitting quite a lot though so could be the reason

Yep like a pulled muscle pain, keeps making me try and jump out of my own body to get away from it

Yes KD we are on,y 3 days apart. Make sure it feel a little less worrying now xx

The sudden sharper pains, low down on the sides of where your uterus would be, sound like round ligament pain. I get those if I move suddenly, like getting up from sitting and also when I empty my bladder. It's totally normal.

Cramping like period pain in the 1st tri is also very common and nothing to worry about unless it's accompanied by bleeding. It's just the womb stretching :)

the reasons can be many. It all depends on the way of nutrition and hydration of the body. during menstruation this behavior is normal but it may also be an ulcer in the gut or stomach, go to the doctor
