Bump belts - seat belts

Has anyone used a maternity 'bump belt' in the car? I get worried every time I have to use a seat belt!

I'm learning to drive at the moment & my instructor wanted to go through the emergency stop last week (I didn't do it but am going to have to eventually!)

Does the bump belt work? Is it comfy?

I used one whilst I was pregnant and found it very comfortable.

It definitely works (keeps the belt under your bump) and is easy to transfer between passenger and drivers seat.

I recommend it. hth

i never used one, i just made sure the belt was tucked under my bump, or if i was a passenger i held it there.

I bought one from the Baby Show last week-v comfortable and seems to have worked so far. Am also much a much more careful/cautious driver since I got pregnant (not that I was a girl racer before!)
