Bugaboo Cameleon-thoughts??

Hey everyone,
A friend of a friend of a friend has a bugaboo cameleon she was going to put on ebay as she has only used it a few times (apparently money to burn!!) So she said she bought it for £900+ and it has all the accessories, carseat etc ! She has offered it to us for £300 but I've read some reviews that say folks babies have grown out of both the pram and buggy part within 6 months (average size babies).
I just wondered if anyone has one, or has heard of others opinions? £300 would have been above our budget anyway but if it was an amazing travel system then I would be sorely tempted to go for it!
Thoughts??

For £300 it's a bargain!

I had one and the only reason I sold it was because I needed a smaller pushchair to fit in the boot of my car with both dogs in. I changed for a Bugaboo Bee. If Bugaboo did a double I' be having that too!

I've heard great things about and would bite her hand off for 300 quid! I have the bugaboo bee stroller and love it
