I don't know if anyone will be able to help but someone who is emigrating has offered me her BRITAX EXCEL travel system for £50 and I was wondering whether anyone had one or knew anything about them?

Also I only have a small car- Ford Ka- so would it fit in the boot?

Any advice would be great!

lol.. are you being real? no pram will ever fit int he boot of a KA!! ever,.. i got britax zeta monza.. dunno if its anything liek yours but mines awesome! lol..britax r very reliable

I had a britax and I found it a complete pain in the backside. Mine had a bar that attached the car seat to the trolly if you for get that bar (which i did many times) your stuffed its usless.

I've got a Britax Voyaga Ultra and it's VERY bulky, it only just fits in our Peugeot 206 boot. Is there any way you can ask your friend if you can try it in your boot before you decide?

Apart from the bulkiness it's a really nice travel system, very easy to push and fold up & down. Britax are a good name.

we can go and try it- the main worry was whether people found them good or not as I read they were heavy.

The other thing is my mum wanted to buy our pram for us and think was looking forward to going shoping for it so she might feel a bit cheated out of that and she has just gone on hols for 2w so I can't ask her about it :wall:
