And if he doesnt turn what happens? do you automatic get a ceserean? and are they born any earlier ? Cant find anything to read up about breech births.
I'm no expert but I do know that the midwife / doctor can gently manipulate your tummy and baby to help baby turn. You can also spend time on all fours which I have heard can help. Thats all I know hun, I'm sure people on here know loads more to tell you. Isaac was back to back, not breech.
Most breech babies are born by planned c-section but there's no reason why you cannot give birth naturally or with assistance, to a breech baby, its just not something many women in the position opt for. Very best wishes, I would just say to discuss options with your MW and try not to worry, LO has a while to turn yet, and lots of LO's turn during labour too
i had a breech baby at 33 weeks too, she didnt turn until 36 weeks. the main things i did were sitting forward, on the edge of my seat with my knees below waist level (so uncomfortable when u really wanna slob out watchin tv!), sleeping on my left side, bouncing on my birth ball and kneeling on all fours with bum in the air (not much tho as blood rushed to head and i looked ridiculous and my boyf would slap my bum!)
they told me they would offer me ECV at 37 weeks (which i really didnt like the sound of at all) failing that it wouldve been a cesaerean.
at 35 weeks i gave up trying and resigned myself to the idea of a c-section, but little monkey turned a few days later
