Breastfeeding to Sippy Cup

For those who bf and never gave a bottle, how long did it take your lo to figure out how to drink from a sippy cup? Thanks!

I started giving him one around 5 months and he soon got the hang of it. I found the nuby ones best as they have a soft spout and don't leak too easily or come out too fast. He still won't take milk out of it tho!
