Are there any reasons why we shudnt use a sippy cup with EBM in for Ellie, shes almost 4 months and still wont take bottle properly so we've given up & tried sippy cup & shes alot more receptive to it.

Im goin out soon to a boxing match & leaving her with my mum & dad so need to know she'll take something for them while im out as the tickets cost £200 so dont wanna miss out & waste money! If all else fails she will use a feeder cup so she defo wont starve!!

Thanks!

if she will take it hun i would go for it they gave hannah breast milk out of a cup when she was 2 days old so i wouldnt worry

Just wondered why they are for 4months +

think its coz ur not supposed to give babys water till they wean?

u can give her one jo.. no harm at all.. u can get softer spouted ones to

there nice cups  :rotfl:

Go for it if she will take them, will get her in good habits early!

I would just give her the cup if that is what she is taking water out of. Cally won't take a bottle if she knows I am anywhere in a 5 mile radius, so I told MIL to give her EBM in a cup if she was refusing the bottle. Luckily she did eventually take the bottle but I would not have seen her using a cup to be a problem.
