Breastfeeding mummies & periods

When you got your periods back did they settle into regular cycles quickly?

Or did it take a while for them to go back to how they were before?

AF is being weird.

Mine came back when baby was only 8 weeks old despite breastfeeding and my cycle length is totally erratic still but I'm hoping it'll sort itself out once I stop breastfeeding when Rory is a year old as my cycle length is anything from 20 to 42 days now when it was 28 days like clockwork before!

Mine came back at 6 months but not regular at all, first one was 40 days plus, i guess they wont really settle down till im finished bfing. x

mine seem to be settling down now, just had my second and it was 34 days and before i had H they were 32 days

Mine came back once at 15 mths and once at 8 months. I did notice I sort of had a double cycle, like 8 weeks between periods.
