I am going to breast feed as I think its better all round etc, just a quick question though
i've not had peanuts through my pregnancy for the obvious reasons but I am DYING to have loads of peanut butter and snickers etc lol
when breast feeding does this then mean I souldnt have peanuts? :(

i ate peanut butter the odd couple of times when i was pg,am not expectin Jamie to have any problems??

p.s ur sig is hilarious in a weird way lol!!!

If you have allergies in your family it's best to avoid them, but if not a little bit shouldn't do any harm :D

I looked this up for the very same reason the other day and the advice is the same as pregnancy if there is peanut allergy or asthma etc in your family avoid them while breast feeding

mummy kay - best to avoid if you have asthma, peanut allergies or exthma (sp) < lol the itchy skin thing as for some reason could make children have it
seeing as i have no luck with everything else i had better not risk it lol so :( :shakehead:

no prob best not to then, we havent got a history of anythin in our family so I think i can get away with it?

Hi

If you have allergies or family memebers do tehn they say to avoid it, but with both pregnancies i ate them and while breastfeeding i ate them with Kiara and she is fine :)

Becks, look at page 43 of your Bounty book you'll get in hossie (You and your newborn) it says about peanuts and stuff there :)

Thankyou for the info everyone, I have had the odd Snickers bar, but OH has slight asthma and we both have had eczma so guess if I do breastfeed peanuts are still to be avoided, I didn't know that, thankyou.

Best Wishes xX
