Breakfast before nursery?

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions

x

My daughter started nursery 2 months ago & I was worried about the new routine. It was tricky at first but now after a few wks it works just fine. We reduced her milk, (on HV advice) she has 5oz when she wakes about 6.50am then porridge 7.50 out the door by 8.15. It can be stressful at times but I get her clothes out the night before &!her bag all packed ready so to not add to the stress in the morning!

I wouldn't he sending my son there given everything you've said about them

Any others in the area?

When I was breastfeeding and lo was at I nursery, I'd get up at 6.30 and bf, jump in the shower whilst hubby got him dressed, if I wasn't ready they'd watch a bit of tv then we'd both be ready to leave at 7.30. If I'd had to give him breakfast I could have just squeezed it in. Fortunately he gets brekkie as soon as he gets to nursery so I didn't have to. I would be quite concerned at the lateness of breakfast and to be honest might make me rethink the nursery. Perhaps it's worth speaking to them, surely you can't be the only parent that thinks this is too late? I couldn't wait that long for my breakfast! x

Realistically this nursery is our only choice due to cost and location. We know other parents with children there and they're all happy with it.

My nursery do breakfast at 8 (provided by parents) snack 9:30, lunch 12 and tea/snack at 3:30. I have to be out door at 7:15 so always pack cereal and toast for 8am xx
