Braxton hicks?

For the last couple days I've had loads of braxton hicks on and off...thing is they're sometimes accompanied by a sharp pain across my bump. They aren't mega severe and am going to go and get checked out this morning as I've woken to pains.
But before I start panicking like the looney bin I am... is anyone else having slightly painful ones? Am I overreacting? I don't want to waste the hospital time with my panicking..

I am hun! When they first started they came with period type pains which were awful! Thankfully that has gone now but I’m still getting the BH. They can be quite uncomfortable and with shooting pains too when other times they’re just rock solid and loads of pressure! Hope all goes ok!

Thank you x the midwife said it was fine... but today I'm almost to the point of thinking it's early labour the whole belly feels like barbed wire pulling tight think I'll have to go back
