So, last night I woke up around 1am in a lot of pain... I didn't know what the pain was from except that the pain was on my left side but not on my right. So, I go to the e.r. last night and they said I was fine but that I was having braxton hicks contractions... is this even remotely normal at 20 weeks with twins? I'm really nervous and didn't know if anyone had experienced this?

I know braxton bucks contractions usually come later in pregnancy but I'm unsure if its even remotely normal only being 20 weeks in. Any thoughts?

Yep completely normal lovely. I started at 16 weeks with #1, 14 weeks with #2 and #3. Hurting is normal too, well uncomfortable is more the word. All of mine have taken my breath away and made me feel a bit dizzy when I've had them for a few minutes together

Wow, didn't know you could get them up to 14 weeks... and yeah for me it hurt on my left side of my stomach. And it definitely winded me and made me feel woozy. Well hurt might not entirely be the word.. my left side definitely felt tight though and uncomfortable like you said. It's weird though cause I get them like once or twice a day. Thankfully they are normal though.
