brast feeding and period....

    I thought that if you were breastfeeding you didnt get a period??
    I am exclusively breast feeding and bleeding very heavily( had to wear two pads within the space of 3 hours). Could this bleeding also be due to going on the mini pill??
    any answers will be helpful

    some people don't get periods while breastfeeding, some do.

    i was lucky i didnt get periods while bfing. apparently if u do get periods it means bfing wont work as contraception! :hug:

    i thought it didn't work as contraceptiion anyway?

    its a good job i didnt do 'the deed' the other night.
    My partner said o it will be ok your breastfeeding................good job im the sensible one
