hi everyone......we are team yellow and staying that way. i have had a girls name since shortly after we had our daughter 4 yrs ago. her name is Niamh Mary Grace Downward. i said if we ever had another girl we'd call her Isla which goes lovely with niamh (if it matters) but boys are sooo much more difficult! if it was a boy last time we had 'Eben' lined up which we both loved and hubby still does....but although i still like it im not 100%. what do you girlies think? family is divided i think because it is so unusual. other names on the boy list are: Rohan, Henry, Freddie and Seth (but hubby does not like last two) infact hubby is still in love with 'Eben' so this may be a pointless post anyway lol!

Niamh and Isla are lovely names, and do go well together. How is Eben pronounced? Is it like Eden but with a b? If so it also goes well with the name Niamh and I quite like it. Not so keen on the other names though, sorry. I totally know how you feel, we are also team yellow and have several girls names we like but cant think of any boys names. At the moment Im leaning towards Sebastian or Flint, but im not sure if they are just daft, lol!

thanks for your thoughts....Eben is pronounced like ebun or evan.....'Ebb' rather than 'Eeb' if you can understand that. its originally derived from Ebeneezer but i dont like that- just Eben. Hope you get your names sorted too. x

I'm the other way round I've have decided that we're definatley having a boy (stating team yellow) and so have boys names we love and not really entertained girls names! :/ but I do like the idea of just seeing baby and deciding when they arrive. Your names are lovely and definatley go together x

I can think of very few boys names that I like! Out of all your names I think I prefer Rohan the most!

Oh I so know where you are coming from! We are staying team yellow too, and we have 2 girls names - Isla and Poppy, but no boys names!

I love Finlay, or Finn, but hubby doesn't. I love Oscar and William, but again, hubby doesn't! I'm completely stuck!

xx

Eban is nice , think I naturally thought it was pronouced Ebbb - an tho, and he might have problems if peopl lke me do that.. Ebban as a spelling would help that tho.

Out of your other names I really like Rohan and also Seth

I like Rowan and heard a really unusual one at school the other day , little boy was called Torrin, was lovely!!
