See what you are saying is different to what I have read! Carrying around hips and high = girl and carrying low = boy! Its so hard to tell whats what!

But for the fun of it I am going to guess you are having a boy :) (what do you think you are having?)

Well Ive got a girl, and I think Im feeling and carrying differently, I say THINK, it was nearly 6 years ago now, and strangely enough u do kinda forget.... But Im thinking boy...

Im going to say boy.. (but thats just a guess)

my little mans heartrate is always around 135-140bpm, i think i carry quite low, but i carried quite low with my daughter to, and her heartrate was high and low.. so who know.. :) x

I have no idea... everybody i meet points at my belly and says thats a little boy... We found out we were having a girl at 20 weeks so they are all wrong!

Its weird isnt it, so many old wives tales that just arent right sometimes... I think it all depends on what u looked like before hand too, like are u the sort of person that carries a little extra weight already, or are pear shaped anyway etc etc...
I just couldnt say as I was carry a little extra weight before hand due to alcohol and a not so good diet, so when I fell pregnant, I actually lost over a stone in weight and I am still lighter now, at 36 weeks and 5 days pregnant... I will just have to wait til he or she is here...

thats very true!

I guess if youve had a child before and you carry your next differently that might give you an idea but i dont know because this is our first.

Am carrying high and mostly from the front (from the back i barely look pregnant)
Although pickle's heart rate has been exactly or round about 140bpm every time its been checked!

Saw 4 magpies yesterday, think that's meant to be for a boy

U could be having a boy then, its nice to have the surprise tho isnt it...?

It's lovely to have the surprise, at a guess i'd say you're carrying a boy!

Whenever people ask "what are you having" my standard response is "a baby" the little old ladies I chat to on the bus over my knitting think it's lovely when we don't find out, anyone younger seems to think it is strange.

everybody tells me that im carrying a boy, im not shes definatly a girl :) im carrying high but there is a nice set of love handles at the side. i was very round with my 2 boys x x

The older people do love it when we dont find out what we're having, and it is a nice thing to do really, I cant wait for my fiance to say... Its a .... boy or Its a .... girl....

Same here. I have it written in my birth plan that hubby should be the one to tell me what we've had!

Yeah its in my birth plan too, high lighted and underlined, just hope they stick to it....

Fingers crossed they do. It's like I hadn't changed to my married name with my dr, so on my maternity notes it says my maiden name. Have it highlighted and double underlined that we are married and that they are to use our surname on baby's wristband, even put a copy of the wedding certificate in with my notes.

I know, when my first was born I said her surname was Petrou and still put my surname (baby Edyvane)... :wall2:
