Boxes set recommendations

I am off for an operation today snd some friends want to buy me a boxed set of DVDs. Any recommendations? Was thinking madmen but never even seen one episode. Already got sex in the city, west wing and 24.

Mad men was good - except that all the men in in are sexist pigs and that might piss you off!!
I was just looking at the life on Mars set and heroes (but i guess you might have to like scifi for that one.

Can see a few boxed set purchases coming? Already bored and op was only yesterday. Got 6-12 weeks of doing very little. Can't even lift a kettle for 6 weeks. Daisy- op went well thanks. Have got a thread about it in girlie room.
