Hey!

We'd really like to start using our lovely bouncy chair for Sophia, but she's not overly keen, and we're not sure if it's because she's not strong enough for it, as it's pretty sitty upright.

When did you start putting your little ones in bouncy chairs?

Ta!

I tried it when Lizzie was about 2 weeks but she wasn't strong enough really so didn't 'get' it. But from about 6 weeks she started to actually look around and enjoy being in it :)

Charley didn't like his to start off with but started sitting in it from around 6 weeks. He only goes in it now after a feed, most of the time he lie's on his play mat

zak loves his chair he'd be in there always if he could. loves napping in there too. started using it pretty much straight away. x

I have a mamas n papas one and he always hated it because it was so upright, so I bought a fisher price one which is alot more tilted back with a vibrate setting and he loves it, he was in it from about 2weeks, I don't think he will be in it much longer as he will be sitting on his own soon x

Thanks everyone. It's a mamas and papas one, and really upright, but was the only one hubby liked!!

We put her in for about a minute today. She didn't seem to mind this time, but the thing to support her head doesn't actually stay on, so it's a bit pointless! We'll wait another week I think!

All this parents stuff is scary!!

was gonna say mines a fisher price so its not very up right and she went in it about 2 days old and loves it! she goes in every evening whilst i cook :) x

Thanks. I might try find a way of attaching the headrest, it's so stupid!!

Have you got the cream barnaby bear one by any chance? As that's the one I have but h didn't like it as he kept slipping down! I now have the fisher price infant to toddler rocker and he loves it - it lays right back for newborns!

i got the same n noa only really sit in it when he keeps me company in the bathroom when i have a shower or gettin ready. hes not too keen xx

The barnaby bear one SUUUUCKS! The bounce thing doesnt work, the vibrate is noisey, the head support is useless, its far to upright, they always sink down in it.. I hated it. Left it behind when i moved and am lookin for another one. Want oen that i can lay flat aswell though.

Momma kat look at the fisher price infant to toddler rocker h loves his one!the back raises plus it lays flat, rockas and you can put batteries in it but I haven't so no idea what that does! 3 people recommended it to me and its well worth the money!x
