Lo is 6 weeks old and exclusively breast fed. He doesn't have a dummy and we don't use nipple shields.
I have had a couple of nights out and expressed for each one.
Oh has had an awful time with lo on both occasions because lo HATES bottles. He screams, fusses and spits out the milk. He just doesn't like the bottle.
We use the tommee tippy ones.
Are there any that are more suited to bf babies??
I've expressed for a night out I have next week but I'm dreading it because I hate the thought of lo being upset and wanting mummies boobies :(

We use TT so no bottle advice, but have heard cups are good if they don't want bottles. Xxx

On my iPhone - so cant see tickers :(

I bought the MAM ones because my SIL (who was a HV) said that they were recommended for using while BFing

I haven't BF as Aaron wouldn't latch, but he's not "supposed" to be able to bottle feed at all and he's got on great with them.

Yep I was just going to say what Tweety has said.... MAM bottles have been recommended by many people who BF as well. My sister used them and she swears by them xx

Oh great, I'll try those.
I don't know if oh could handle a cup lol xx

I do combi bf n ff. My LO gets on great with mam bottles. We've also had him on the dr browns and he's ok on them too, but I think the anti colic part works best in the dr brown bottles.

We did try him on a TT bottle and he didn't get on with it at all.

Yeah my sis said the anti colic MAM ones were good x

Thanks girls.
Where do I get these bottles from? xx

You can get them in Boots and mothercare hun... Asda used to do them or online xx

we use AVENT which have been good, you could also try the medela calm ones, my lo didnt like them but they are meant to be brilliant for bf babies.

The MAM ones are so easy as they're self sterilising.... just put them in microwave with water for like 3 mins... bish bash bosh... lol... x

Mam were the only ones I could get K to take, I think cos the teats are flatter and mire nipple like! Think I got them in tesco!

I got my MAM bottles in Mothercare, but boots etc do them too

Self sterilising was great till I had to get the big bottles and they don't fit in my bloody microwave .. grrr

I used to cold water sterilise, was so easy! Just left a tub of sterilised water on the side and after a 10 min dunk and a rinse with boiling water they were good to go!

Mam are great and the mOmma bottles are meant to be fantastic - but only really sell in the USA I've just had to get some off eBay as their reviews are fantastic xxx

This is what I used to do - if you get the Milton tabs you don't even have to boil and rinse just shake the excess water off and they are ready to use :)
