Booooooooooobs!

Hey ladies! Technically I shouldn't be in here until tomorrow, but I thought it would be best to ask this question to the ladies who are further along because you're more likely to have an answer

So, in the last week or so, my boobs have really started to hurt. My nipples are really sensitive and I get shooting pains in and around my boobs that keep making me involuntarily grab them, which is pretty funny when I'm out in public!!

So does this mean they're going to start doing something soon? Every now and then I find a bit of white crusty stuff on my nipple but that's been happening since about 16 weeks. Should I expect more? I've had breast pads on standby for aaages and I'm getting kind of excited about using them

don't be excited! leaky boobs are sooooo annoying haha... especially in this weather when you dont want to wear a bra in house/in bed ... ruined a few tops already. My colostrum (sp) is bright yellow ... yuck

My nipples have changed so much over past month or two.. I actually had no sensation in them due to an operation and now in the shower I cant even stand under the water without shielding them! so think its normal...

could be nerve pains due to growing too? I've gone up another cup size recently and got a few stretchmarks underneath boooooo

Ooooh, growing pains! I hadn't thought of that! Eeeek! I do hope they're gonna get bigger soon. They went up a bit at about 5/6 weeks and then went back to normal and stayed there! I want big boobs like all the other pregnant ladies!

make sure you moisturise them! I completely forgot about my melons and have been bio oiling my hips, belly, arms, thighs.... and got big bright ones on my boobs... damn!

I started with the white crusty bits towards the end of tri 2 and the last week I've noticed some actual leaking. I felt a small wet spot and thought it was my hair as I'd just washed it. Then when another wet spot appeared and as my hair was now dry, I realised it must be colostrum. Unfortunately for hubby, I'd nicked his t-shirt as it was nice and comfy.

mine have been tender on and off since i stopped breastfeeding my DD when i was about 3 months preg, they havent been leaking tho, they didnt last time either lol

I am still waiting for Pg lady boobs. Mine have actually shrunk, I've had to tighten all my straps up. No sign of leakage for me and I'm 36 weeks. I'm hoping that leaking isn't something that's supposed to happen to every lady! Cos as it stands I'm pretty sure I won't be able to feed!

Mine are tender and sore some days I also notice the areola bit (sp) is more bumpy but iv not had any leakage I did get some crustiness a bit intri 2 bbut nothing since then. I have stayed similar cup size but found I needed the bra extenders as tho they keep measureing me as same its too tight otherwise I need the extra around space x

My boobs started leaking little amounts at about 26ish weeks, but over the last few weeks its become ALOT more! I get massive wet patches when I don't have a bra on. My auntie is a midwife and used to specialise in breastfeeding and she says everyone is different and some people don't get any leakage whatsoever until after baby is born, it doesn't make you any more or less likely to be successful at breastfeeding. I will say though the leakage is really annoying!!! My nipples also went really really dark almost as soon as I found out I was pregnant! That's meant to be a good sign!! Xx
