Hi,
I'm confused again about how to deal with NHS in Scotland
My story: I didn't know how to find out - am I really pregnant or not (was worried about cysts and thought I need some tests). I had an ultrasound in ABC4D, Glasgow, and it's 7 weeks and I even saw a heartbeat!
Today I tried to book an appointment with midwife. In my new surgery they said I have to call 0141 232 4005 - which is a "central booking line to encourage women to make an appointment with their midwife as soon as they discover they are pregnant". I called. They asked for my name, date of birth, address and said that I'll receive information about my appointment by post.
So...I thought maybe they'll tell me to which hospital I should go, ask how many weeks...no, just general info. Do I have to just wait now? Has anyone waited too? Can I track a progress of my appointment in surgery? Sorry if it's stupid questions. First pregnancy! (thanks to ABC4D, now I know it)
