Booby Feeding

Just wondered how many of you are planning to booby feed and how many are planning to use the bottle??

No arguments please, just wanna get a rough idea of how many of you are doing what.

Im hoping to breastfeed, if I can, all being well but not gonna punish myself if I cant.

I tried breastfeeding zack but didnt take to it, felt funny
So I bottle fed him.

But am going to try with all my mite this time to breastfeed

Yes if all goes according to plan I'll be breast feeding as well.

Me too, going to give it a go...not going to beat myself up if I cant do it. I think even if you do it for a short while it still sets the babys immune system up etc so a bit is good, and if I can keep it up, all the better.

Only got little boobies Hope the baby doesnt go hungry!!!! xx

I am planning to breastfeed too but as Jaidy said, not going to beat myself up if it doesn't happen. My boobs have grown massively since I got pregnant (will they ever stop!!!!) so I need to make them smaller somehow!!

I'm planning to do but am already worrying about doing it in front of people! I think I am going to use a poncho, I know its natural but I'm a bit of a prude at getting my baps out, my SIL does it all the time and it makes everyone wonder where to look as she'll have them blatantly out and (with no baby attatched) and chat to you

Someone mentioned on another thread that if you persevere it will become easy. There is loads pf support on the feeding section so lets all save some money

I get a bit worried about that too Skatty. I just think im a bit shy and body conscious!! I could do it in front on mum, OH, aunties, mates etc but not my dad or my brother or anything

I heard you cant express milk until you have been breastfeeding for 3 weeks anyone know if this is true??

I think its because the milk is still coming through just after birth.
So baby needs it fresh from the mother, because the express milk wont keep.
