I have a prolapse of my bladder and uterus, I'm only 26. i got it when i was 24 after my 3rd child. I m really scared of this now SHITTING MYSELF cos I've got a pessary in an in the end will need surgery, if i have that i will need it every 10 years meaning i will not be Abel to have sex again as it will just make me narrower. Not alot of women have this at my age, I'm not gonna be able to have anymore kid, why is happening to me!!!!!!!:wall2:

i might be wrong here but even if your made narrower you can stretch things out same as when a man has sex change they have to insert smething to stretch it out hope it all works out for you horrid thing to go thru at your age xxx

Hmm, my SIL has a prolapse after her first and she is only about 32ish.

I'm not aware of her having had the surgery to fix it, last i heard she was suffering from discomfort and an urge to catch something falling.

She is still planning her next child for next year.

My sister has this at the mo, after her last baby was a 10lbd'er 3 years ago (Cause she is only 5 foot 4 and about 8 stone) She has three kids , she is near 40 now, and doesn't want ay more kids , but she has been refered for pyhysio , she went quite often at first, all free on nhs, and less now. she has found it has made a big help, esp when she actually does the exersizes at home too. She is now not needing surgery and all looking good.

Hope you can do something simular hun X

my friend whose 24 has had one of these but they are giving her physio and exercises until they decide if surgery is necessary so hopefully you should get that option!!

It all depends on what stage the prolapse is, my is pretty bad, this has been going on for 18 months now and nothing has got any better, I'm seeing the physio and gynecologist apparently my womb is at the back of my bladder not at the top so along with that and having my kids must be why i've got this. I dont think anyone can understand this if they haven't got this but thank's for your replies. x
