Told me i would get the results of the postmortem at the 6 week check... well the postmortem results are going to take another 4/6 weeks so i am not getting a six week check at all

I just wanted it to be over.

I know it will never properly be 'over' but you know, move on, not have to worry about them telling me its me and i will never have babies again or whatever it is they are going to say

grrr i just wish they would have told me at the time that it would be 12 weeks... then i could have at least prepared myself for that.

That is just awful, ok there are always admin fcuk's ups but it just goes to show the insensitive nature of the organisation - you should have been told weeks ago there would be a delay. Sorry you have had to take another blow, you really need answers in black and white and I hope you get it soon. Don't let them forget you hon, if you have the strength keep asking questions. My thoughts are with you. xxx

thats the thing though, she didnt seem to think there 'was' a delay, she said that it was normal for it to take up to twelve weeks... so why on earth was i told very clearly six weeks when i left the hospital and each time i have spoken to the labour ward?

I have told her to phone labour ward and inform them of the different time frames, because its not fair it is a strange sort of 'closure' and something that you hold to a little bit.

Sigh.
