Blood test

I had blood tests done at 10 weeks for diseases like hiv hepatitis etc im just wondering if they found anything would they of let me know as soon as they knew? I don't know why im worrying about this but just wanted to know.

They would have called you back in if they had found anything to be concerned about, but if you are concerned, give them a ring to check.

When I had the blood test around that time they rang me up when the results were in to tell me I was anaemic, so sure the same would apply with any other things they found.

Yeah cantstop is right, they would call you back. I saw a consultant at 12 weeks and she checked and all was fine.

Thanks girls I rang the midwife 2 weeks after blood test she said not to worry

I had blood tests at that time too and I literally only got the all clear letter on Wednesday, (15weeks 1 day) so waited 5 weeks fir results! I was worrying too even though midwife had told me if I don't hear anything after 2 weeks then everything would be fine. I started to convince myself I had them all! Xxx

I didn't even get a letter saying everything was fine so im just going to assume everything is ok.

they would of contacted you asap if anything was bad i got the results the other week to attach to my notes and all are clear

I never got a letter or anything i found out my results at 16 week appointment but if it was anything serious they would definitely phone you straight away xx
