Blood Pressure

Posted this in another topic by mistake earlier. sorry.

I have a blood pressure monitor which I use often and over the past 2 weeks my BP has been decreasing.

My mw tested my BP 2 weeks ago and It had lowerd then too, but mw didn't comment on it.

I don't feel light headed or faint at all but I am worried that it may be start of something. Could it be that my iron levels are quite low or something else.

Anyone else have low BP. xxx

Hey hunny,
my midwife told me that BP drops around this stage in pregnancy so that it has room to rise nearer the end when we are massive and things have to work harder. dunno how accurate this is but hth

I had low blood presssure a few weeks ago and the doc signed me off work for 2 weeks. I had quite bad symptoms though, really bad dixzzy spells.

My BP is now back up to 100/60 though so am really chuffed.

What is yr BP at hun?

It seems to have increased today.

This morning (which is when it is usually higher) it was 113/63.

This has cheared me up a little. xxx

In every pregnancy my blood pressure had lowered and then it goes back to normal afterwards.

I've got low BP at the moment...

I had an appointment with the midwife this morning and it was 85/55. Its going down each time I see someone. The midwife said this is normal and wasn't concerned at all. She said as long as I don't feel dizzy or faint then it is nothing to worry about...
