Blocked Nose

Hi All,

I have noticed that my babys nose is blocked as he is breathing hard and also making sound while breathing. 2 days ago i was feeding him when he started crying and little milk came out of his nose..since then his nose is blocked..i thought it will be fine in few days but its not been yet. I hve used saline drops but they r very less effective..plz advice..can this be bcz of cold..what do you all do when baby nose is blocked..

awww poor little lamb! well usually when my babys are blocked up i put a bowl of steaming water half under their cot, the steam helps unblock them while they sleep, as they have got older i just put a drop or two of Karvol in x

Thanks dear as he is just 8 weeks I will put a bowl f water near his cot

im going through the same, LO is 9 weeks old and has had a blocked nose since he was born. I used saline drops as told to do so by the HV and then after a couple of weeks i was told to stop using them. Im seeing doc for his check up and jabs later today so ill ask him

poor babies hate to see them suffer xx

Thanks all..i used saline spray and that have seemed to help a lil..will keep using it to see if he gets better...saline drops were also helping but the spray has been more effective..

alanna was snuffly today so i looked up her nose.. big chunk of white mucous .. she sneezed a few times but it wasnt goin nowhere so i grabbed a qtip... now i have a happy snuffle free baby lol
