Kind of a random post really...

On Sunday night, every hour or so, I kept getting very bad belly cramps. My OH panicked and asked the obvious 'are you in labour?' to which I replied, 'don't be silly, I'm only 35 weeks!'

he then asked: 'are they branston hicks then?'

bless 'im... I then burst into a fit of giggles, and pictured a jar of pickle having BHs, which at least made the cramps go away!!!

i used to call them branston hicks

i've been getting throbbing this afternoon that feels like it's from the top of the cervix bit... is this branston hicks? it doesn't feel like tightening, it feels more like, well throbbing/twitching.. it's every few seconds, quite rhythmical, and doesn't hurt..

any ideas?

I think I had a branston hicks last night, and after that I just couldn't sleep as it just reminded me of birth and labour. I'm terrified.
