Hi ladies, im 5 weeks pp now and still bleeding. This is my third child. I know you can bleed for up to six weeks and sometimes more but its never changed colour which i thought it is supposed to. Its still red was light at start of week and i thought it was stopping but yesterday i went for a walk and now its gotten heavier again and ive got cramps again :( Anyone else had this? im so sick of it now i dont think its an infecton as i feel fine. Ive got my 6 week check on friday but just wondered if anyone else was like this xx

Hi I totally sympathise - mine didnt stop until 12 weeks. It would stop for a few days then re start - it was so annoying! I had a scan to check there wasn't any placental tissue left (which there wasn't) and the doctor said I could go on the pill and that would stop it but I decided not too. It did eventually stop and was bright red the whole time then one day it went. I hope yours goes soon - it's blooming annoying!
P.s when it gets heavier it means you're overdoing it so try (as much as you can) to have a rest x

I haven't had my baby yet but I'm curious... Can you wear tampons? I can't stand wearing pads, I hate the feel, i can neverget them to stick where they should and they always end up irritating my vagina and upsetting the ph levels! Dreading having to wear them! Xx

No you can't wear tampons - it's to protect against infection. Get maternity towels rather than sanitary towels, they're made of cotton so they're nice and soft! X

I have sat on the sofa all day so far and it seems to have calmed down again guess ill have to give walking a miss for a while longer yet x
