Hi everybody. I've been lightly spotting for a month now and it is still going. I initially thought that it was from stopping birth control, but i went to the obgyn a couple days ago and found out that I am just shy of 4 weeks pregnant with a faint positive test result. I was astounded because i did not and still don't have any pregnancy symptoms. With my first born, i could feel many symptoms at 4 weeks. I know every pregnancy is different though. So, i am still lightly spotting, though there is alittle bit more blood when i wipe than before but still not alot of blood on the pantyliner. Out of all the days of spotting, there were about 2 days where my pelvic area felt weird and had pressure and i had mild cramping. Blood came out alittle more those days also.. but still, it wasn't much blood like how much period blood would be. that was maybe 2 weeks before i found out i was pregnant. I'm just being paranoid, but could i have possibly had a miscarriage ?? I hear you could still test faintly positive if you miscarried. I know the bleeding could be implantation bleeding but i read that that only lasts a couple days. I was wondering, for those who bled during a healthy pregnancy, how long did you bleed?? Is it bad to spot this long?? Should i be worried of a MC?? I'm worried cuz i don't have pregnancy symptoms yet.

I’ve not experienced spotting during my pregnancies but agree if you ask for your bloods to be taken they can monitor the increase in hormone levels which would be a good indication of how things are progressing. I have had a miscarriage before but with mine my body didn’t recognise the baby had stopped growing so I didn’t find out for 2 weeks after it happened. I will say that when the cramps and bleeding came it was a lot of blood and it was extremely painful though. I have read of many women having spotting throughout pregnancy and everything being fine with the baby. Hopefully some ladies with experience of spotting will reply soon x
