Hi Guys
Just wondered if anybody had any advice or similar stories. I had a couple of spots of blood over week 5 and 6 so after contacting the midwife I was booked in for an early scan. We thought I should be 8 weeks but the scan showed a fetus of 6 weeks with no heart beat. I was asked to come back in two weeks for another scan. That evening I started bleeding, assuming I was starting a miscarriage I prepared for a tough night. However over the next three days I was bleeding on and off and with out any pain. I contacted the midwife again as I was very worried what was happening. I went for another scan 4 days after the first and it showed the fetus was still there. It has now been a week and I am still bleeding, some days are close to heavy and bright red but then it starts to dry up, before it starts again. Today is the first day I am starting to feel a bit of discomfort, again this morning I thought the pain was going to get worse, but as yet this hasn't happend. I still have a whole week to wait until my next scan. I am starting to get down and think I have no chance.

Try not to stress too much hun... some people spot throughout their pregnancy and go on to have healthy bubbas...xxxx one of my friends bled pretty much every day until she was about 14 weeks then it stopped her boy is 16 now :) xx

Just to keep this thread updated and in case it helps anybody else. I had a miscarrage last night, very painful cramps and then passed the fetus. You certainly know when it is happening! Very sad but I know that it happened for a reason. Just hope we can conceive again and next time we have more luck.

I'm really sorry to hear that Hun :( Am thinking of you, be kind to yourself and much luck for the future xx

I'm so sorry to hear this Hun big hugs x

Sorry to hear that hun... i knew in my heart of hearts the first time round that was what was happening too.... I'm so sorry for your loss... make sure you look after yourself and eat and drink and rest properly xxx

Sorry to hear it hun. At least you know you can deffinatly get pregnant, you just need a sticky bean now.

You will worry like crazy next time too until past the point you lost this one. It's perfectly normal and everyone on this forum is very supporting.

Mega hugs and hope you get a sticky bean soon!

Hi I have read in all forums and few websites and moreover personally taking PROLUTON Injuctions every week. You please consult doctor and go for PROLUTON Injuction, It definetly help u. Ask doctor that how many times PROLUTON Injuctions to be taken in a week. It will control bleeding. In scan ask for Curvix length, if it is less go for cerclage before 14 weeks. Then you won't misscarry under any circumstance.

thanks for the advice Patel333, although I beleive that if I miscarry then it is for a reason and it is better that it happens early on, less pain full early on and to some extent less heart ache. At least we didn't see a heartbeat. But thanks again for adding your comment.
