Bleed for two weeks now!!!

Hi all,

I'm literally freaking out!!! I'm currently 4wks6dys pregnant and I've been bleeding for two weeks now and it doesn't seem like its gonna stop anytime soon. Its not much (I can probably wear 1 pad the whole day). Sometimes it doesn't come on the pad and the blood can only been seen when wiping with tissue.

Is this normal?

It's not normal, but also doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong. But after 2 weeks I would definitely suggest seeing your GP and getting things checked out just to be safe.

I will call them again on monday. This is so odd for me.

The last time I tested at home was on the 23rd of July. My doctor took a urine test on the 25th of July and they were both positive.

Whats confusing me is that the blood does not seem to increase at all. It just sometimes turns brown, brownish red, dark red or pink...

And sometimes it looks like the blood is really sticky (almost slimy like). Besides that I don't have any cramps or pains.

Have been doing research for days now and the conclusion I can make is that it either can be nothing to worry about or something is going totally wrong.

Yess, I have been there twice. Nothing they can do for me. Its just nerve wrecking. I'm trying to stay calm.

I feel like i have written this because i had this too & it lasted for two weeks as well, I attended the Early pregnancy unit for a scan & thankfully everything was fine, Get yourself checked out for your own piece of mind X

No, I called the doctor at the hospital and they referred me to a midwife. Well they told me to wait and if I bleed more than normal to ring again.

I think I did miscarry. I went to the toilet after I felt blood flowing between my legs. In the 16 days I was bleeding I haven't felt that until today. All of a sudden a big clot that is really dark red fell out of me and I just started crying. Wauw, didn't know it could affect me in such a way.

It is btw my first pregnancy and miscarriage ever. I got pregnant after I lost my virginity beginning July this year. So I'm kinda new to all of this and never knew this could be so hard. I'm just heartbroken.

They don`t know what caused the bleeding all that they could see was that there was some old blood even though it was coming out all different colors the sonographer said that it would eventually dry up & thank goodness it did.

What makes you think you have miscarried ? Have you seen something ? Because i really thought that i was having a miscarriage too i know how stressed you are feeling right now X

I just read your last post, Bless you hun i`am not sure if that means you have miscarried as i have read other women having blood clots & not miscarrying, Make an appointment with your doctor & get checked out, I really hope you are ok ? X

I've had 2, both at the same stage you are now. It is one of the most painful, most heart breaking things you will ever go through. Let yourself feel that pain.

Please make sure you go and get checked over. If it is (and I still hope it isnt) it's important they make sure your womb is clear.

Then make time for you. Grieve if you need to but remember there is nothing you did or did not do. Miscarriage this early is usually because baby failed to implant or there was an abnormality. It wasn't your fault nor does it mean it will happen next time xx

Wow!

I passed a large slimy bloodclot.... and after that some smaller clots. I'm not sure if I miscarried, but I do suspect it.

I will make an appointment 2morrow first thing!!!
