I'm already not feeling hopeful about this cycle and looking something to try for the next one!
(While still trying to convince hubby we should do the frozen Embryo transfer now and not next year, ugh men..)

Has anyone tried Black Cohosh?
Would love to hear your experiences of it

I'm finding really mixed opinions on it.. wondering if it's worth a go or another waste of time/money :wall2:

Sorry I can't help as I've never heard of it? What is it meant to do?

I hadn't either!

I think it's something to do with regulating hormones, but sounds slightly dangerous? I don't know!
Maybe it's one to miss..

There are other things that will regulate hormones like Maca.

Iv'e tried Macca, Inositol, Vitex, Soya isoflavones, Chromium and Black cohosh.

I can Honestly out of all of those the only things that worked for me were inositol and Black Cohosh.

Inositol helped me loose some weight and the Black Cohosh has made me O twice! Didn't get a BFP but I definitely O'd on it and then had two proper periods. I didn't really understand it the first time I used it and used it to bring on a period with High doses, but then I read more studies and took a low dose from CD1-12 and I ovulated both times I used it.

I've read some interesting studies suggesting it increases clomid success rates when used along side. So when AF finally decides to show up, I may add it to the clomid and give it a whirl again!

Vitex just made me spot constantly, and the others just didn't do anything.

yeah from what I was reading there was a lot of success from people using it alongside clomid

I don't think I've ever had problems with ovulating so I don't know maybe it's not for me!

Just digging around
wish I knew what was wrong with me!

Yeah, I know what you mean. If you don't know what wrong its difficult to fix/treat.so difficult isn't it xx
