Bit miffed!

Well we moved nearly two weeks ago now so yesterday I phoned my doctor's to let them know of the change and they have said I have to re register with a doctor nearer to me. I've only moved 3 miles away and have been with my current doctor for 10 years! He's been there for me through so much and I really wanted to keep him as our family doctor because he knows us so well. I just can't see the point in saying we're well out of his area when it's only literally 3 miles So now I will have to change midwife as well which I'm not best pleased about. Really hope my new one is nice! Only good thing is the doctor's here is right down the bottom of the road so will be easy to get too. Just feels a bit weird going to a new place!

That happened to me. Not when I was pregnant though.

We moved about 2 miles away and were told we were now out of the catchment area. Fortunately, the place where we subsequently registered the GP's are really nice and I'm happy with my midwife so far aswell.

GP practices are so pedantic about these things
