Birthing Ball?

I bought a birthing ball, it arrived tiday and I'm really pleased with it. I know I'm only 17 weeks but thought sitting on it might help my back and hips.

I sat on it for about 20mins earlier and now I keep getting some sharp twinges (on and off) in my tummy. Not sure if I'm reading too much it to it.

Should I be worried??
 
You need to make sure you engage your core muscles when sitting on ball. Do some pelvic floor exercises etc. You gave probably just pulled something with all your pelvis and ligaments softened with pregnancy. Ive a yoga ball and use it every day. I got special exercises from physio
