Not a lot. You get the odd accidental nip but it's generally hard to bite, suck and swallow at the same time ;)
I didn't suddenly start getting bitten all the time anyway x

I asked my friend and she said that there were no bites:)

my mum said if on the rare occasion she got bit she just took the boob away for a min to give us the picture that biteing = no food

Thanks for posting as I was wondering the exact same before xx

Kynon has no signs of any teeth yet so was dreading them coming through and getting bitten, maybe it won't be a problem then!

Oz cut his first teeth just before 6 months old and I was well scared of getting bit, but he never did bite me. He only bit me when he was 12 months old, and he started doing it all the time so I figured he was telling me he didn't want boob anymore, so he went cold turkey and turns out that's what it was. Nice way to tell me though, OMG I cried it hurt so bad lol

I get the odd nip when he's teething but it's not too painful, more of a surprise.

When Owen first did it at about 9 months, I quite forcefully said 'no' and put him down on the floor. He then went on a nursing strike for almost 3 days which was horrible. Now whenever he nips me he looks up at me with a scared look in his eyes so I have to smile and cuddle him. Just a warning not to be to firm on the 'no biting' discipline

I too was wondering and worried about this. E doesn't have any teeth yet, though she still tries to gum me hard sometimes. She also gets this evil look on her face and pulls hard as she is feeding. I swear she is trying to pull it off and always just pictured her getting that look and biting it off after she got teeth.
