best pregnancy/vitamin tablets?hey girl

Hey girls, when I went to my GP confirming my pregnancy she gave me a box of folic acid to take and I took my last one last Thursday... I'm guessin I Shud buy some other shape or form of vitamin tablet as I'm not the most healthiest of eaters, I do eat healthy, just not as much as I Shud be lol... So what is the best brand to take?

P.s. I started a thread the other day about not having recieved my 20wk scan date yet so I rang up the ante-natal dept in he hospital and got booked in 3wks today at 10am excited...xxxx

LOL, i used pregnacare in all 3 of my pregnancies and it always has done the trick hun x

I take the tesco pregnancy ones. Just as good as pregnacare and cheaper

i took pregnacare aswell but didnt see the point as i kept throwing them up (had really bad morning sickness from 8 weeks) the asda own ones are quite cheap and dont taste that bad! xx

pretty much all contain the same vitamins in them it's just paying for the brand name

I got wilkinson ones at the mo cos I couldn't get to tesco! Think it was 30 for £2 something. look horrible so they must be doin the job!

I thought you only had to take folic acid up to 12wks? :-s I dont take any vitamins?? should I be?

my GP gave me them when i found out, think i was 8 weeks.. and there was about 54 i think in it and some days i had forgotten to take them which took me up until now... it isn't compulsory to take vitamins etc. but it is recommended..xx

Folic acid is extremely beneficial in the first 12 weeks. U don't have to take vits after 12 weeks but if ur diet isn't fantastic or u wanna make sure baby is getting everythin it needs u can take them.

I started out on prey scare, but switched to Sanatogen cos it has calcium and I don't like milk etc. That's only diff I noticed. Xxx
