I had a Google but figured I'd rather ask you ladies. Any books you'd recommended or advise against?

I have what to expect when you're expecting. Been enjoying reading it with OH x

I have what to expect when expecting too, so far its really good, but I'm trying not to read too far ahead.

I also have Your pregnancy nutrition guide by Henrietta Norton, which is very good

Expecting Better is excellent. And Bumpology is v interesting x

Excellent, I'll check those out. I've been reading The Positive Birth Book and I really like it. I'm really scared of giving birth but I never knew how many options there were. The book has definitely made me feel a bit less frightened.

I haven't even started thinking about the birth bit yet! I think everything is still quite surreal

If you can go to any of the free parent education classes at your hospital they're ace- I learnt loads from a class on positive birthing techniques, and another about induction. And they're free! X

@DeeDeeAbi I had no idea these even existed! I shall have a Google ;)

@Nemi (I love Nemi. Goth mum-to-be here) I feel the same way like none of this is real. I'm going to see the doctor later today so I'm wondering if it will sink in a bit more then.

Definitely, or just speak to your midwife about local ones, she will know if there are any at your hospital at least . If not I'd enquire at other hospitals as where I love you can go to any classes at any hospital whether you seed delivering there or not xx

My cousin gave me this and it's amazing tells you every thing day by day and shows you your baby's progress the feelings you might be feeling it explains it all xx
