Best midwife appointment ever!!!

Since my BFP and seeing "my" community midwife at 16 weeks - I've never seen the same midwife twice. Don't get me wrong, it's mainly due to me using the drop in service - although the other time I booked in to see my midwife she was on annual leave!

Anyhoo, today I thought "here we go again", but she was lovely. Did the whole "how are you" thing and took my BP. But had a really good, proper chat - I was in there for at least half an hour/40 minutes, whereas I'm usually in and out.

That's all really, just wanted to share.

Aw lovely, I had a good one today too! She the heartbeat first time when I asked if she'd try too! V supportive of my birth plan. Great to hear yours was good too! Xx

I know exactly how you feel, I was the same with rushed appts.

Then I moved house and got an absolutely lovely midwife, she went through everything with me and explained it all, I was so chuffed I was smiling all day, I'm now really looking forward to my appt next week

Its amazing how different they can be though!
