Hi girls,

I asked about this when Blake was tiny and the general consensus was that he was too young to appreciate toys so not to bother.

He's 15 weeks now and gets very upset when you don't pay him your full attention which is proving difficult to even grab a minute to wee/make lunch/peg washing out etc.

What are your LO's favourite toys? What amuses them and holds their attention the most? What could you not live without?

I was looking at the baby Einstein stuff but wanted some Mum advice first as it's quite expensive.

Thanks in advance!

Isla loves links, bright starts do a pack for £4, and I hang them of everywhere for her. The whole bright starts range is really good and affordable.

Seb loves his Lamaze toys, anything that makes a sound, anything reflective and........books! We also had to buy him a bright pink and purple cat from tesco 'chubby chums' range that rattles as he kept reaching for it and wouldn't let go when he got hold of it! Lol x

At that age, zac loved his playmat, I bought extra stuff from mothercare to hang on for him to try and grab and hit. It would keep him entertained for a bit xxx

I dont have much toys for noa yet, he loves his rattle. he can happily sit in his bouncer n chew on it for 30 min. He also love his play gym as hes now able to grab his toys there. Ive got some books and thats fun but only if im there with him. He got the lamaze octipous but dont really like it yet.
Ooo i forgot, he got a ball from argos, it sings songs if you push it and hes just getting the idea now.

xx

Oh and he loves his play mat and he has 3 boo toys which he loves! Ones bigger than him!)

Charley still loves his play mat, he can lie on there for ages. He's got a igglepiggle/upsy daisy teether that he loves. He likes his jumperoo for about 10mins and I've just got him the lamaze dog that he's seems to like

Lizzie's got a thing that hangs above her (don't know if it's called a baby gym), that if she kicks plays different tunes. She's been able to kick it since she was about 5 weeks but we've now moved it so she has to reach and hit it with her hands instead which is more of a challenge. Gives me time to get my much needed coffee and toast in the mornings!!

Cahal loves these too, they keep him completely absorbed for ages lol!

Thanks for the replies ladies!

About ten minutes after writing this thread my sister called telling me her 9 month old is getting bored of lots her toys so did I want her Bright Start baby gym?

It's great! So great that within 5 mins of being on it, Blake rolled over trying to see the pictures and colours on the side! I was very proud...

i really rate the baby einstein toys!!!! I bought h this for xmas http://www.amazon.co.uk/Disney-Baby...W7V0/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1300096024&sr=8-6

but this is the bit he loves the most http://www.amazon.co.uk/Baby-Einste...DF6O/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1300096024&sr=8-1

i also bought this http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BABY-EINSTEIN...s_Creative_Educational_RL&hash=item41578117b3 its £50 but i got it for £19.99 from mothercare!! He loves it but he wants to sit and play with it but hes not quite there yet!!

Alex loves his rainforest gym and we have Lamaze Captain Calamari and he loves it its very brightly coloured and always plays with it as it has a mirror underneath the legs and has plenty of different textures and noises and it hangs from his gym, car and pram so it goes everywhere! He also has a my pal scout which is for 6 month olds upwards but we hold it and play with him and Scout he loves it as it says his name and incorporates his name into songs other than that we don't use anything else yet as he is only 14 weeks old.

We have quite a few toys for eva but she doesn't seem interested in them really. We got her a piano type thing that ties to the bottom of her cot and she kicks the keys to get a tune out. She seems to like that. But what we have noticed is that her favourite toy of all is her muslin sheet! :) she's forever grabbing it, sucking it and likes to play peekaboo with it. She's gonna be one of them kids who chuck the new expensive toy out of the box and play with the box!

Chloe has one of them rolling squares she hadn't used it yet but they r durable it was her sisters when she wad little and she is turning 4 this year lol

We also have these she loves

Oh I just remembered h loves his gloworm he loves it when the face lights up!

He's just started to take an interest in the toys this week. Like Chloe he likes the Lamaze stuff. Since I got the bumbo he seems to be much more interested.

Tinkerbell what make is your glow worm?

I think its made by playschool... Its just the normal gloworm its £9.99 to buy in most places as my friends lo loved ours so she went and got one on her way home!!x

Think Argos do the gloworm in the 2 for 15 pound range :)
