Behind?

Ive never thought of lanna being behind before, but im a lil worried about her fine motor skill..

She can pick stuff up and throw it, swap hands when shes eating , does the pincer grip (sometimes) but doesnt really have any individual finger control, also a -lot- of times when she wants to grab something (say food on the table of her highchair) she smacks it to grab it and then ends up dropping it cause she doesnt realise she got it!

Is that normal for (almost) 9 months? my baby signing book says she should be starting to copy signs now.. but she doesnt do any, doesnt even wave! does clap though.

Isla still smacks the highchair to grab food, but sometimes she doesn't. She only learnt to clap on the 1st September whereas she had been waving for ages. Every baby develops differently. She was rolling way before Isla did it if I recall xx

She learned to roll back to front a lil late achully, and never learned to go front to back! she just started crawling instead, and sits up lol
