Omg he's gorgeous lmao, I always ask for him even if I get nothing more than a good perv for 10 minutes

Anyway, he's prescribed lactulose (eeeeeewwwwwww) and ibrufen gel for my back but to only use it when I really need it cos a small amount does get into the blood system. Has banned me from taking co-codamol cos of the constipation and the pressure I had yesterday with not being able to pee is dangerous. Also told me to push for a c-section with the consultant when I see him on the 9th.

He said that the back pain is just going to get worse with the weight of my bump and that I am basically stuck between a dog and a lamp post with it . Because the pelvic floor ligaments are anchored at the base of the spine he said a bump support isn't going to work and wanted to sign me off til I go on mat leave but I don't get paid so said no.

I have to rest as much as I can and they will help me with pain control if it really gets too bad xxxxxxxxxxx

Ohhh ouch Babybrain! Would you not get paid SSP? How long till you go off on Mat Leave? At least he has prescibed you something to take the pain away (well hopefully!)! Bonus being your doc being fit!! Lol Keep well rested! Get your feet up and a cuppa! xxx

Glad you have got it sorted hun. I use iboprufen gel for my back etc. My consultant, GP and mw said it was safe as it goes into your muscle and doesn't cross the placenta??? They all have different opinions don't they. I have the lactulose it is pretty gross but works. lol.


Since being pregnant I have done nothing but perv over people!!! And its people I would never have done before. I hate facial hair etc and have found my self perving over random people with beards and things wonder if its cos they look more manly and father like!! lol

I finish work at the beginning of feb so only 7 weeks to go. I've promised him that I will take each day as it comes and if need be will ring in sick. I would get ssp but need my wages

Leanne everyone has got so much better looking since I've been pregnant altho the only person with a beard I see very much of is my mother in law and there aint enough hormones on this planet for me to fancy her lmao
