Beakers/sippy cups

When did ur lo start drinking from a beaker?
My lo is 1 in 2 weeks & thinks its a game when it goes near him, gets excited starts wacking it lol as soon as the water goes in his mouth he pushes it away

Any advice?

We gave one to DD when she started drinking cows milk so shortly after she turned 1. She loved the milk so much she didn't care it wasn't in her normal bottle lol. She was never particularly keen on drinking water from it either, she would much prefer a small plastic water bottle from a supermarket x

My little one was given a sippy cup from when she started weaning at 4.5months (weaned early due to reflux under consultants advise) she didn’t really take to it for a while. Then we got her an avent sippy cup which had a rubber spout similar to a teat material and she loved it up until one when I switched her to a nuby 360 cup x
