My feet have really swelled up quite bad today. I've got my Birkenstocks on the loosest strap setting and they're still a bit tight.

I haven't done much today except sit down. I can't tolerate laying on my back with my feet up for more than a few minutes because I've got a bad back anyway.

Any suggestions? Do you think it's anything to worry about? I saw my midwife 2 weeks ago and my blood pressure was fine but I'm not due to see her again for another 2 weeks.

This heat doesnt help, no advice other than keep em up as much as possible, we are lucky its flipflop weather really!!!

My feet are the same, they are HUGE and swollen, i look like a freak.
I filled the bath with cold water and soaked them in there for a little while and it seemed to take the swelling down a little bit. It must be the heat as my fingers are the same ( had to take my engagement ring off ) but my bp is fine.

Mine have been the same over the last few days. I just have a constant bowl of cold water near me and keep dipping them in and out- also keep them elevated (when they're not in the water!) Looks set to continue with this sodding hot weather too

Mine are huge. Even sitting normally with feet on floor is making them worse. You've just got to keep them up.

Mine have been huge for ages and the heat makes them worse.

The only way they slightly go down is staying in and cooling off!

Thanks,

They're a bit better this morning but it took me ages to get to sleep because they were sore last night.

My only reason for worrying was because I had pre-eclampsia with my son and I've been told I'm high risk to develop it again.

yes had swollen feet for weeks now and my BP is always around 110/60, i dont think the fact i am pretty immobile helps but in this heat, i think quite alot of people will have the same problems

i soak mine in cold water with a few drops of lemon essential oil, perfectly safe to use and takes the swelling down nicely
