Heya guys, just wonted some help/advice.
For the past couple of weeks now ive been having little stabbing like pains in my lower belly, i did look up on the internet what it can be, it says it streaching pains (with everything stretching). I was coping with these pains and there were no blood.

I am currently 19W+4D pregnant and still getting these same pains but there is no blood, over the past few days ive been getting the pains worse and more sharper still no blood. The pains actually do hurt now, abit lost on what to do. I dont wanna phone my midwife (shes useless, lol)

Now i am resorting to this pregnancy forum, so i would like some help from you guys and what i could/should do.
Thank you in advaaance :) x

On your notes you should have a pregnancy assessment/triage number for the maternity unit at your hospital, if I was you I would give them a ring! They’ll either give you advice or get you in to check you out x

Agree with the above, it’s the best thing to do :)

As above. I would phone the maternity assessment unit for advice as it's the weekend. I've called mine once for reduced movement at 32 weeks. The gave me advice over the phone and then got me in for assessment. I was lucky it wasn't particularly busy the night we went in and everything was fine. That was also at a weekend so much more appropriate than my community midwife.

What do you mean by the ‘Maternity Assessment Unit’ Do you mean hospital or the emergency midwife?

All the important numbers are listed in the front of my notes. It just says maternity assessment unit (MAU). It is at the hospital. Might be listed as maternity triage perhaps? My midwife highlighted it at my booking appointment along with their office number.

Are you the girl who’s a midwife? What do u recommend I should do?

Yes I am.
On your maternity notes there should be a number for “maternity assessment unit”, “triage” or something that will give you 24 hour access to advice. Most notes have them on the front. I would call the number and seek advice from them there.

Currently i have used a got water bottle (bottle only warm) and the pains seem to ease off. But if they come back in the night or tomorrow i will ring up :)
