Bad idea? Progesterone cream....

I don´t know if this is a good idea, but my sister just been through IVF treatment and is now pregnant, she got a prescription for Progesterone cream, as I had 3 miscarriages, I read it could be due to lack of like progesterone or something, she said I could try the progesterone cream and its not harmful, and everyone who tries to get pregnnt with IVF uses this... Is it an good idea to take this without discussing with my doctor first? The presription is on her name...

Shauna asked a similar question not long agao and it seemed to me that you are better off getting a medical opinion if you are going to start fiddling with your hormones levels.

Too much progesterone can cause fertility problems, just like too little can, so if you are normal then taking the cream might do more harm than good.
