Sorry I'm just feeling a bit self indulgent and woe is me about going back to work.

I really struggled going back last time and thankfully I am now in a part time position this time. The only problem is it's a new job and something I've never done before. I'm at a different building and I don't know anyone I'll be working with. I also have to do five weeks training on a full time basis. I hate the thought of being away from my babies so long!!

I can totally sympathise! Although I'm a ftm I just started a new job further from home a couple of weeks before I went on maternity leave. I have about 5mths (hopefully) before I go back but already sick at the thought of having to leave LO first thing in the morning and collecting him to get him ready for bed. Doesn't seem fair:( hopefully Ill drop to four days and make it slightly better. Part time would be ideal.

Hope you get on ok. When do you start back?

littlemonkey, there's enough uncertainty in there to make anyone feel wobbly, let alone adding in separation from adored baby to the mix! so it's perfectly understandable you feel a bit ergh about it!

sending hugs xx

You have my full sympathy. Just remember, the training course isn't forever and you'll still have time to spend with your little ones. Just make sure it's quality time. :hugs: Xxx

I get how you are feeling, I have to do a full time 2 week course before going back to my job and might have to spend a night away. Then may have to go straight into my working pattern. (Hopefully part time) Dreading it, even though it isn't until next summer. Hopefully it'll be ok and you will get extra cuddles in the evenings x
