Back from the Consultant

Oh babes, I am THRILLED for you, it sounds a brillant plan, your doc sounds fab!!!

I bet you are so relieved now, and you can start to get excited for the birth...

ah right, I got you now :) I was lucky in that I didnt have stitches or anything but I had to have a ventouse (trust me if you think you cant go on pushing like I did after two and a half hours and fifteen in labour! PUSH HARDER!! lol)

I had gas and air after the meptid started wearing off and the guy who was going to give me the epidural was runnng late (again I didnt want gas and air but the first midwife out of three that I had in the end cause I was so long in labour was horrible and kept telling me to have it, I was making some noise mind lol!) and then when I was going through the actual pushing then they were telling me to have gas and air.

But if you had an epidural did you need the gas and air whilst pushing?
